The 3 Questions You Should Ask Before You Use Essential Oils

You want to take care of your family’s health.  And there are a lot of essential oils out on the market.  But how do you know that you are getting the best quality and best value for your dollar?  Here are 3 questions you must ask before you purchase any essential oil on the market today.   ways to know that you are giving your family the highest quality available.

3 Questions to Ask about Essential Oils

Is it organic or wildcrafted?

When it comes to essential oils, organic matters.  If your oil comes from a farm, you might want to reconsider.  Think of it like this, all the chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fumigation and toxic chemicals are concentrated in the oil and are 70 to 100 times more concentrated in the essential oil than they are in the original plant. When toxic chemicals are used on nonorganic plants, those toxic chemicals sprayed on the plant come through the distillation process and are in the nonorganic essenital oil, and they are also concentrated! If you are working to a healthier lifestyle, concentrated toxic chemicals are not the way to go.
That is why using certified organic oils is so important. You want essential oils that are clean and toxin free. Your ONLY way of knowing for sure is to make sure your oils are certified organic.

Wildcrafted plants are grown alone in nature.  No human help at all, and absolutely no spraying of any kind.  These are harvested from the wild habitat and are harvested in the wild.  This is a pure form of the plant giving you a high quality, premium oil in distillation.

Who recommended this essential oil to you?

Do you know a Certified Aromatherapist?  If you have ever wondered about essential oils, get to know one.  Holly Draper, is a Certified Aromatherapist and she knows her stuff!

Has this oil been through chromatography testing?

Okay, here goes the science lesson of the day.  To evaluate the chemical constituents of an essential oil (what’s actually in there), chromatography testing is used.  In essence, the chemist passes a mixture dissolved in the mobile phase through a stationary phase, separating what is being analyzed from the other molecules.  This way, the actual molecules are being isolated and measured.  Gas chromatography is used for substances that will not decompose at high temperature.  The process is simple.  An oil sample is put in the heating chamber of the gas chromatograph machine, and heated until it evaporates.  As the oil vaporizes, it is measure for  the amount of time and the concentration of the molecule. Purify Skin Therapy has gas chromatograph (GC) and mass spectrometer (MS) tests done on all their oils. Not only that, but Draper is trained on how to read or interprete those GC/MS tests to make sure she only gets the highest grade premium essential oils available.

If you can confidently answer that you know where your oils come from, who has recommended them, and that they have passed chromatography testing, you have a better oil than most.

Purify Skin Therapy 100% Pure USDA Certified Organic and Wildcrafted Essential Oils have the chromatography testing, they use only organic or wildcrafted oils.  Use them wisely and they will help you in your quest for your family’s health.

I have had the strangest foot condition for the past 20 years. I've tried EVERY oil, lotion, pumice stone, athlete's foot treatment……… the only time I've ever had vast improvement was when I had UV therapy at a derm office 3+ times per week. I can no longer afford that time or money wise, so I've just been living with my crazy feet. Is there any type of oil that truly works for feet that are that far gone? the rest of my body is a LOT better than my feet— I can't figure out why my feet are so awful. I'd never heard of a certified medical aromatherapist- how interesting!
