Vetiver Essential Oil

Vetiver Oil is made from an aromatic grass with a grounding, earthy smoke scent. The essential oil is steam distilled from the roots of the grass. Vetiver is deeply relaxing and can be used in baths and as a massage oil to assist with stress, insomnia and depression. It also can be used for acne treatment for oily skin and accelerates the healing process of cuts and wounds.

Depending on your symptoms, Vetiver can be applied the following ways:

• Combine a few drops of Vetiver oil with coconut oil and use as a massage oil to promote circulation and calm negative emotions.
• For deep relaxation, soak in a warm bath with a few drops of Vetiver.
• Use Vetiver with Lavender in a diffuser to relieve stress.
• Rub a few drops onto the feet of a high energy child to calm and ground them so they are more able to focus.
• Use one drop of Vetiver oil with 3 drops coconut oil and apply to a freshly washed face to reduce excess oil in the skin.
• Massage over your heart to reduce anxiety.
