Have you noticed that injury and sickness happen when it is the most inconvenient time? There are two oils that are perfect to add to your first aid kit and also to carry with you. I carry some small sample sized bottles of oils in my purse and use them often. If you are new to using essential oils, these two oils would be a great place to start. This is a short list of things these versatile essential oils can be used for.
- Tea Tree Oil - Apply tea tree oil directly to any open wound to clean and aid in healing of the wound. Tea tree oil is antiviral and antibacterial so rub a drop onto your hands for a natural hand sanitizer. Rub a drop on your neck to relieve and heal a sore throat.
- Peppermint Oil - This oil is the best oil for pain or muscle injury, just rub a drop into the area in pain. Rub peppermint oil onto your stomach to aid digestion and relieve abdominal pain. Peppermint oil is also great for headaches, just apply some along your hairline for instant relief. You also can apply a drop to your tongue to naturally freshen your breath.
Safety Reminder: Peppermint oil is not safe for the use on children, use Certified Organic Spearmint Oil with children age nine and younger.
